As the pharmaceutical community looks forward to the issuance of the new FDA Risk Evaluation & Mitigation Strategies (REMS) guidance in 2011, a free webinar will examine all the REMS occurrences during the past year and what they will portend for the future.
This review of REMS in 2010 will be addressed in a webinar, presented by the ParagonRx risk management experts, which will take place this Wednesday, December 8, at 12 noon Eastern Time.
Entitled “REMS 2010: Year in Review,” it is the latest in a series of monthly “Wednesday FoREMS” webinars sponsored by ParagonRx, an inVentiv Health company, and a leading consulting company specializing in pharmaceutical risk management and optimizing medication.
“There were a lot of developments that happened in the REMS arena during 2010, things we at ParagonRx were involved with on a daily basis,” says ParagonRx President Jeffrey Fetterman. “But this is not a nostalgic look back; rather, we will present an analysis of trends, examine best practices and lessons learned, and see what the implications are for 2011. Participants may be surprised by the ways different therapeutic areas were affected and what developments meant to the various pharma disciplines from research to marketing.”
There will be a question-and-answer session following the presentation, and ParagonRx will invite participants to sign up for detailed reviews of how REMS developments impacted their individual companies and the disciplines within it.
More information about registering for the “Wednesday FoREMS” webinar series can be found at www.paragonrx.com/rems-hub/forems/. Webinars will be held the second Wednesday of each month at 12 noon EST.
